Aritzia Visual Displays (2015–2022)
The following images showcase a selection of visual display productions developed as part of the Aritzia VD Team for its stores across Canada and the United States between 2015 and 2022. These concepts were designed by artists Ben Skinner and Genevieve Dionne, whom we supported closely throughout the development and production process.
MY ROLE:
My role involved translating creative concepts into viable production strategies, often supporting with prototyping and with developing techniques for large-scale fabrication, as well as overseeing the mass production of display props. As Studio Lead I worked directly with the studio manager and creative directors to ensure deadlines were met and that all materials were prepared and shipped efficiently to their designated locations.
DISPLAYS:
The displays featured here vary in materials and techniques, ranging from handcrafted in-house pieces to components fabricated abroad and finalized in our studio. Materials included carved and CNC'd styrofoam, metal, wood, paper, and concrete. Fabrication and assembly were carried out by a team of skilled artists and woodworkers, with whom we collaborated to bring each installation to life.
